    In "Eyewitness, The Amelia Earhart Incident", Thomas Devine makes a good case that Amelia and Noonan were captured, executed and buried by the Japanese on Saipan, and that he personally witnessed her plane burned at the order of our own government (Secretary of the Navy James Forrestal).
