A question for the Tribes, especially the Navajo, why would the local tribes frown on Amateur Radio at the Rainbow Bridge National Monument, when the Navajo code talkers are part of tribal heritage?
    No disrespect, just a question.

So they are against ops there? Like NPOTA?

NPOTA has Rainbow Bridge National Monument listed as "Amateur Radio Prohibited".

I would venture a guess that it is because the Navajo consider it a sacred place. Not to mention that it's not particularly easy to get to that location; no roads. It's a very long boat ride followed by a hike in a deep canyon that could be prone to flash floods off of Navajo Mountain to the east.
