    Metal polish such as autosol
    Naphtha brake cleaner
    Vaseline or marine grease -test which is best
    Insulation tape or self amalgamating tape

    That sounds awfully cruel; I would never whip a chameleon! Primeval-looking but otherwise harmless, defenseless creatures they are.

    Hi, while the CHA MIL whip is portable. Remember there are 2 surfaces the post and stud. I would think that the antenna should have grease inside the tubes applied and cleaned with some Q-tips. Just a suggestion
