Ham Rado - Chameleon whips, cleaning and maintenance.
Metal polish such as autosol
Naphtha brake cleaner
Vaseline or marine grease -test which is best
Insulation tape or self amalgamating tape
That sounds awfully cruel; I would never whip a chameleon! Primeval-looking but otherwise harmless, defenseless creatures they are.
No 73 for you!
Hi, while the CHA MIL whip is portable. Remember there are 2 surfaces the post and stud. I would think that the antenna should have grease inside the tubes applied and cleaned with some Q-tips. Just a suggestion
This is what I use on all of my aluminum antenna joints. Seems to hold up well out in the weather. You can buy it in a few different sizes. This is probable the smallest available.
Ok, that was funny as heck!
Are they related to Gecko's?
OX Guard works great
