I have a SKED at 2200Z today (Monday) on 14.285 SSB
Contesting, both on HF and VHF-Microwaves. I love 23cm.
CW, at any speed from QRSS to QRQQ.
And last but not least, the multitude of opportunities ham radio offers to learn new things, experience other cultures, get to know amazing people, travel around the world, improve your language skills, and so on.
The smell of ozone and the crackle of large blue arcs
You cant beat the digs you get from 230V~ @50Hz lol
Working the amateur satellites. There is nothing quite like it. If it gets in your blood you are hooked.
Also 2 meter ssb.
Long walks on the beach, ladies... oh... you are talking about ham radio - cw and phone contesting is the way to go. I also like BSing with the friends on radio. Computers are also making a huge wave in ham radio... Hows about all of us just have a huge sked on 20 - a sort of youth net, but just us! What do you think?

I tried that a few months ago, not good results.
But now it seems we have a few more ppl willing to try, so lets give it a shot!
