Right -- and some will show price increases, others decreases, and some no change -- which provides the OVERALL rate of inflation.
My heating oil contract this year is 50-cents/gallon LESS than last year.
And 60-cents/gallon LESS than it was 2 years ago.
Prices for EVERYTHING vary ... sometimes they increase, sometimes they decrease.
You're sending your $1400 back, right? Being a man of your convictions, I would expect no less from you.
WHEN was that deal made?
How exactly does handing out that money "make it worth less"?

No Ameritron AL-80's either. Pre COVID-19 a new AL-80B cost ~$1500 and ~$800 used. A new one is ~$2000 and a used one ~$1400.
I wanted to change radios again but going to hold onto what I have due to lack of inventory and prices soaring up , everything is in short supply not just radios .
