Probably not the beams -- but perhaps the aluminum in the can.

Right -- and some will show price increases, others decreases, and some no change -- which provides the OVERALL rate of inflation. ;)

    Really?

My heating oil contract this year is 50-cents/gallon LESS than last year.
And 60-cents/gallon LESS than it was 2 years ago.
    ;)

Prices for EVERYTHING vary ... sometimes they increase, sometimes they decrease.

You're sending your $1400 back, right? Being a man of your convictions, I would expect no less from you.

    WHEN was that deal made?

How exactly does handing out that money "make it worth less"?
    Please explain.

    Annual contracts:
    December, 2020 -- November, 2019 -- November, 2018
    Year-over-year comparisons.

    No Ameritron AL-80's either. Pre COVID-19 a new AL-80B cost ~$1500 and ~$800 used. A new one is ~$2000 and a used one ~$1400.

I wanted to change radios again but going to hold onto what I have due to lack of inventory and prices soaring up , everything is in short supply not just radios .
