For the first time ever, amateur radio operators from Bangladesh will go on the air from deep inside the Sundarbans — the world’s largest mangrove forest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This exciting outdoor ham radio event is being organized by the Amateur Radio Club Khulna. The goal is to connect with stations around the world from a rare and beautiful location — bringing attention to both amateur radio and the natural heritage of Bangladesh.

    Location: Sundarbans, Bangladesh
Event Type: Outdoor/DX-style ham radio operation
Organized by: Amateur Radio Club Khulna
    Led by Young Operators:
The entire event will be led and managed by young licensed operators, including S21CMD, S21ACP, and S21AKL — representing the next generation of Bangladeshi hams.

Dates & On-Air Info: Coming soon
    Modes/Bands/Callsign: To be announced

We’ll be operating portable from a challenging forest environment, and hope to be heard worldwide. This will be a rare opportunity to work a truly special location on the air.

Stay tuned to QRZ, DX clusters, and ARC Khulna’s social media for further updates.
