    Correct. This type of one way communication is specifically authorized under Part 97.

    One of my favorites! Back about 1980 I taught a freshman music appreciation course at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and would use this tune to demonstrate syncopation. :)

    Sure they do. I know for a FACT that the Pirates Flagship has a license!

    It’s a well known one, too. KDKA-FM “The Fan” 93.7 MHz FM, Home of the Pirates!

    That's silly.

    There are plenty of general coverage receivers out there, and they used to be common. Still are if you include SDR, but mostly they've gone away, like the broadcasters they were used to receive, due to the Internet.
