Ham Radio Mesh Networking has been one of those things that I’ve wanted to learn about. After a quick peek around and a few questions asked, I stumbled into AREDN (Amateur Radio Emergency Data Network).

Join me as I learn about Mesh Networking over Ham Radio with Randy (WU2S) and Darryl (K5DLQ) in this latest installment of the Ham Radio 360 Podcast.

We also announce the Winners of our Annual Christmas Prize Giveaway.

AREDN is used often in this area, it is some cool firmware. I got the meet these guys at HAMCOM last year, nice bunch of folks.

Listened to the first half of the podcast on the way to work today. Pretty neat concept and it's interesting to see new innovation on the ham bands, especially 900 MHz and up.

None in my neck of the woods either. I'd like to setup something but finding a good initial site seems like a hell of a lot of work.

All of the AREDN mesh networks started with one site....
