Maybe it’s porn for packaging engineers.
Agreed, but still not enough on fone
I spent a few years printing for a box company. The guys who design packaging may be different but I doubt these unboxing videos are porn to them. They like it far more complex.
This has been studied. People like these videos because they get a small portion of the sensation they would have if they ordered the package, waited for two or three days, and then expectantly opened the box. They are basically having vicarious emotions.
That dog SPOT sold a LOT of cars ,... and the human was kinda funny at times too.
(Those of you that haven't been in the SoCal area might not understand this).
Go see Cal, Go see Cal, Go see Cal
I remember Cal--he used to own and fly his own little fleet of aircraft (including a jet); as a used car salesman (and pilot), he was no dope.
Yet another sad commentary for the times we live in.
Yeah, just trying to remember some of the crazy stuff he did on his Saturday "show".
Tigers, Monkeys, elephants, pigs, Lions, Seals, Chimpanzee.
The plastic"blimp" on a rope flyin over the freeway in Long Beach...
Oh, and "Return of the killer tomatoes"
Operators who respond to my CQ, half work the QSO and then abandon because Russia or some other DX called them. I finish what I start.
Turns out dropping the code requirement had far ranging, deleterious effects on our hobby! Ham radio is dying !
