Great Lakes Division Director To Speak

The ARRL Great Lakes Division Director Jim Weaver, K8JE, will visit the Murray State University Amateur Radio Club at the club’s May 6 meeting. He will address the topic: "Amateur Radio Today . . . and beyond".

John Meyers, NB4K, the Kentucky SCM, will accompany him.

We in the Murray, Ky., club welcome any and all to our May meeting.  There is plenty of room in the Curd auditorium on the MSU campus.

Some members of the club have been experimenting with Echolink, and are involved in several service projects, such as last weekend's Red Cross disaster preparedness fair in Murray.

We took part in HF contesting.  Anyone in the region is welcome to take part in our Monday night VHF directed Net on 146.940 at 9 p.m.
