any one who gets ripped of from this deserves it, someone who looses money from this scam than they have more money than brains and deserves to get to loose some money!

How about next to a VHF/UHF receiver set to a "no signal channel" with the squelch wide open and the volume all the way up?

Don't get mad. Get even !

If you bought a computer for your mother or grandmother so she could
cheaply keep in touch with family...and she got taken by this scam,
would you still feel this way?
    Just asking.

Well, How would I feel? I've learned over the years that it's better to pray for the fool,
in the right spirit, to be 'blessed', then turn the worry and frustration loose to GOD to
get HIS money back. I try real hard each day not to let someone steal my Joy and doing
this has brought surprising results, all for the good. ;)

Using this simple 'trick', I don't raise my blood pressure or lose my Religion, LOL! I sleep
    great at night too.

It doesn't do any good in finding the jerk, beat him to a bloody pulp, and go to prison for
the rest of your Life. I've seen the TV prison programs, the Cross-bar Hotel, is a place
you don't want to be in or even passing by in a car.

    Respectfully submitted,
    Regards,
    Don/KA5LQJ

    A very admirable philosophy Don.
I'm glad that your faith gives you that comfort.

But the question was: IF that scam happened
to a close family relative who was not "scam savvy", would
you still say that that they "deserved to be scammed"
    due to their ignorance?
(As you did in your first post?)
