    Hi, what is the voltage drop through the mosfets from the battery?

    And, does the solar charger work on AGM batteries? Is it a 3 or 4 stage controller?

    Hi and thanks for the questions.
    The power path control chip along with the power MOSFET switches reduces the voltage loss to 20mV, much less then the 300-600mV diode drop used in most other power gates.

    The SBCC solar controller is a 3 stage charger for Lead Acid (VRLA,SLA,AGM, WET) batteries, Constant Current/Constant Voltage/Float,
    or it can be ordered with firmware for LiFePO4 and is a 2 stage charger, CC/CV/Off. Let us know if you intend to use the SBCC with a LiFePO4 (4S type) battery.
