Gordon Hunter went Silent Key Wednesday 12th September 2018 after a long illness. Gordon was active for many years using many modes from the early days of ATV ,Satellite ,and Digital . He worked in the television trade for many years ending his career as a college lecturer teaching electronics. Many will remember him for teaching the Radio Amateur Exam syllabus in its original City and Guilds format and latterly the new foundation, intermediate and full exam format, all taught within the Mid Lanark Amateur Radio Society. He was still researching the history of radio shortly before he passed and was the former RSGB Regional manager for Region 1. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and former pupils...
