Cool. I remember Glenn broadcasting his drivel on 20 meters roughly twenty years ago. This action is long overdue.

Yep, Brian, part and parcel. Take it before A.E. Newman Bush at 1600 Pennsyltucky Avenue.

He might let you have some water from the Potomac. Downstream from his house, of course.

Too little and too late! I am sure he will worm out of this one, too, without paying a cent.

According to the database on the University of Arkansas at Little Rock website, his license expired on 10/17/2005.  Unless the FCC decides to grant a renewal (unlikely) he should not be on the air now, or at any time in the future.  I guess they'd nail him for unlicensed operation in that case.

1 down, how many more to go?

Not quite that simple, I'm afraid. His application is "pending" which means he can continue to operate. Even if they decline to renew it, all he has to do is file an appeal with the DC Court of Appeals, and unless the judges rule that he cannot operate until his appeal is decided, he can continue to operate.

Well, Glen's batting record of appeals in court isn't doing so well....

I think if he represents himself, he'll lose. Unfortunately, it could take a long time as the wheels of justice are often flat.

[IMG] About time, this action has been dragged way to far. I just hope the FCC gets this matter over and done with, so we no longer have to listen to this bad actor.

Did anyone else get an envelope from Glen Baxter with his two qsl cards and an invitation to 'join' the American Amateur Radio Association for only $35? I did and interestingly enough I can't find him in my logbook.

Great picture of the area he lives in though!! That would make a heck of a retirement place, I suppose.

As one who made not only the Nurd list, but the Nazi list as well
I have to say that I take a bit of satisfaction in this [IMG]

Sorry Glen, but you had every chance in the world to walk the line, instead you walked and walked until you went off the deep end.

Kudos to Riley and the FCC!

His license renewal is still pending. I'll bet he pays the fine and will back on the air.
