    When I was a kid, I used to wonder if you could go skateboarding in that dish! Hope they get it patched up soon.

    What a shame.

    I’d like to know if this is a result of design flaws, poor maintenance, weaker than specified materials, or some combination.

    I agree that seems to be at least part of the reason, having just seen a photo of it in the other thread.
