    Gary J. Mc Larnon, W2OUF SK

    Gary J. McLarnon, age 62, of Earlton, died Monday, June 7, 2010 at his residence.
    He was born April 19, 1948, and was the son of the late Barbara A. (Turan) McLarnon.

    Gary was employed for many years as a systems controls project manager for Honeywell in Albany.
    He was a member of the Coxsackie Sportsman Club, the National Rifle Association, and St. Mary's Church in Coxsackie.

    Gary has been a Ham Radio Operator since 1960.

    He was also a committeeman for the New Baltimore Republican Club, and was once a New Baltimore Town Councilman.

    He is survived by his loving wife, Mary "Peggy" M. (Williams) McLarnon of Earlton. His daughter, Colleen M. Wilkinson of Greenville. Three brothers Williams McLarnon, Scott McLarnon and Bryan McLarnon, all from New Jersey. Two uncles Robert M. Turan and his wife Kathy of Earlton and Richard Turan and his wife Lynda of Florida. A nephew, Brian J. Ferdinand of Rensselear. A niece, Lauren M. Intagliata of Calif. Two grand nephews Evan Ferdinand of Rennselear and Jackson Intagliata of California.

    Gary is also survived by two brother-in-laws, Arthur J. Williams of Coxsackie and Gary J. Ferdinand of North Chatham. One sister-in-law, Patricia A. Worlock and her husband Raymond of Texas.

    Other than his Mother, Gary is predeceased by his sister, Linda Ferdinand.

    Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call at the W.C. Brady's Sons Inc. Funeral Home, 97 Mansion Street, Coxsackie on Friday, June 11 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

    There will be an hour of calling on Saturday, June 12 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Coxsackie with the Rev. Father John Moyna the celebrant.

    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either the Medway or Coxsackie Rescue Squads, St. Mary's Church Memorial Society, Columbia-Greene Humane Society, or the Crohns and Colitis Foundation.
