Spent the day here at home with Phil AC0OB and Sherry, his wife. Phil is a really talented electronics engineer, with designs abundant in that brain of his.

We had a good time perusing the many & varied parts stashes here, trading stories of radio lives, and generally having fun.

Marsha made us homemade pepperoni pizzas, excellent noshing was had.

    A fun thing indeed.

    A bit of geek humor....

I heard an ion mention 'I think I have lost an electron."
A neighboring atom asked "Are you sure?"
To which the ion replied "I'm POSITIVE!"

Question: Where, in the desert SW do you go to have fun, when it's 118F outside?
    Answer: Dennis and Marsha's. :)

Dennis is the consummate broadcast engineer with many years of experience and literally tons of parts for all kinds of transmitters, both commercial and amateur. If you need any audio chain or PS iron, I would wager that Dennis has it, in addition to relays, meters, vacuum tubes, etc.

Marsha is a retired English teacher and is also an artist and author. And wow, her homemade pizzas are to die for, with all natural ingredients from the, "mountain."

It was a lot of fun and well worth the trip.
