    Hello everyone,

Very new to Yaesu Fusion radios...that is another story...i have a couple of questions on the FTM-300.

I am trying to write from the sd card some chanels that i have programmed on the Yaesu Software. The radio gives me an error message when it reads the memory channels from the sd card. Everything goes well and ok reversing the process, i save the channels on sd card and i open the file ok in the software.

One other thing is that when i press the ptt on the vhf band its ok. On the uhf band i hear a louder noise like a relay clicking. is this normal, why ?

    Any hints ?

The relay clicking on UHF is normal for the 300, I can't answer as to the "why"...

Have you tried formatting the card with the radio?

What size memory card? Radio only supports 32GB max.

I have had this issue between versions of firmware in the radio and the programming software.
    My fix was to:
Format that card in the radio. not the PC.
Write the current data in the radio to the SD-Card.
    Read in "that" file.
"Make changes to that file, not a new file" key part.
Save that file from the software to the card.
RE-read the card in the card.

Thank you...i will try to do that...i have already made changes to the radio and put some frequencies...repeaters etc...so i guess the file is 'ready to go'.
