Looking at selling my FTM3100 2m FM unit and replacing it with a 991. The advantages are all-mode and virtually all bands over just 2m FM. I would like to use it for HF CW and leave my FTDx3000 set for SSB.
Anyone used a 991 for CW and care to share your experience? 73, AD8DT

I have used my 991 on CW, it's keyer is fine. However most my work was done with a K1EL USB computer keyer on FLdigi doing the same thing my hand would have done with my bencher. They seem to be good on both SSB and CW. I use mine mostly on 20m + digital and some CW, I used my FT-2000 for SSB simply because I like a Big sized radio for that. used my 991 on C4FM on 10 meters several times during 10 meter contests on 29.600
