I just finished up participating in the ver 2.0-rc5 "roundup" trial contest. I made 30 contacts and I feel I qualified as having gotten my feet wet :) It was fun but not really any more fun than just running FT8 contacts on any given day. The fact that 2.0 allows some more information makes it usable for a contest setting...IN ITS OWN CONTEXT..is good.
I'll participate in the future and will hopefully be more prepared.

    What do you mean, "too"?

I checked with my CIA contact at Hoagie Haven, and they didn't tell me about any Zedders that went to Princeton.

Modes won't kill hamradio. Hams will.

In our country in WWII, they put ham radio into an internment camp, and gave us the choice to fight ...

Maybe we can rectify, or voltage-double that.

Anyway, if that involves fun, the temperance league will stomp it out.

No No... You're going in the wrong direction.... Look at the picture wall (not the text or articles but a wall of articles showing connections... a form of logic).... Think conspiracy.... Princeton....

If this doesn't help... then an old car!

I agree, much easier to stay engaged in the RTTY and SSB contests. I had fun messing around this weekend making a few FT8 contacts but I will say it isn't the same thrill I have had over the years in other contests (CQ WPX RTTY is one of my all time favorites).
