If this is a "contest" -- 17m and the other WARC bands are considered off limits by standing gentlemen's agreement.

Just what we need, a contest on 17 meters?

(It is not a contest) just a schedule meet to get some hard to get digital contacts

I think 20, 40, and 80 meters would make much more sense, as
it is a 24 hour event.
Good luck with 20 and 17 after sunset!

This looks worth a shot for a while tonight and when I wake up again tomorrow. (I'm in GMT timezone)

I think 20, 40, and 80 meters would bode well, as
    it is a 24-hour occasion.
Best of luck with 20 and 17 after nightfall!

I was all for it, until you used the slogan of the Orange Turd.

I prefer my HAM radio politics free.

Oh, I get it. You use the phrase, "Orange Turd" but hey, keep it politics free. Makes great sense.
