    Dear all...
Last month my FT 920 display are flashing all the time and non transmit and not receive nothing...
sometimes "resuscitate" and make a good job but now have two weeks flashing; other issue, the key pad and butons non respose when the display are flashing.

Please, I need some possible fails.

    Regards all

A flashing display on most synthesized rigs means that one of the PLLs is unlocked. (the rig is also usually prevented from transmitting, as it could be transmittind anywhere!)

First thing to try is re-seating (=cleaning) ALL plug-in connectors on all boards . . . that will often fix things.

Next most likely is that one of the oscillator coils needs a slight tweak . . .

After that, one of the ICs may have failed.
