Would someone please tell me what size (15, 30, 45?) connectors and AWG wire size is used on these? I want to get some additional cables for portable/mobile use.

    Thanks.

some say pp contacts get misaligned by stiff wires.??
check out radio control "t" connectors. i find them super strong, spring loaded gold contacts locked in a tough ? housing. dont know material but very strong.
no chassis mount but you can use a short pigtail...
did i say , very tough...?
i am making them standard for all connections below full power rigs

The chassis mount is the essential reason for the product which is to remove the strain on the factory SM power connector.

this would be in the cable, not the chassis end. i notice this displacement in other flat connectors. just repeating what i heard and have seen...

I have thought about one of those connectors, but I have a heat sink on my 817 so it wont fit.
