Android,iPhone or windows?

 

Right now, there is version of wfview for Android or iPhone, but there is for Windows.

The 'server' computer for the IC-7300 could be a Windows computer, a Mac, a Linux server, or (as I use it) a Raspberry Pi.

 

I have a working setup using an IC-7300.
One issue I found was with the user accounts under Server Setup, Admin in settings.
Any option selected: Full User, Full with no TX, or "Monitor only" allowed the IC-7300 to transmit from a client computer.

I think we actually haven't fully implemented those user-access features yet. But we do plan to. I think a "monitor" account is such a cool idea -- you could have a buddy sitting with you doing contest work with his own headset and view of the radio, for example, or pass out the login to some friends so they can hear themselves during a big Hf net. Just a few ideas.

By the way, you can currently attach more than one client to the server. Even using the same account.

We have windows builds almost every night on our Download page. As for mobile and tablet, it's on the horizon. Since development is much easier on the desktop, we will focus on the desktop builds for now.
