Fred died June 1, 1971. I know, that’s a long time ago, but my connection to Fred is that we share the same callsign. I recently purchased an old QSL card of Fred’s on ebay. It’s from 1941. I’ve done a little research on Fred and found that he was very active with amateur radio in Milwaukee, WI, and even served as the local club president. I’m just hoping to find someone who knew Fred and could give me some more information about him, or perhaps how to find more information on anyone else who has shared our callsign through the years. - Chad McFarlin Chattanooga, TN W9ONY
