Frank P Gagliardi, W2FPG SK Frank Peter Gagliardi, 75, of Albany, NY beloved companion of thirty-five years to Linda LeBlanc, passed away on March 22, 2026, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born on March 7, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Carl and Theresa (Coppola) Gagliardi. From a young age, Frank had a natural curiosity and mechanical aptitude, often spending time tinkering with go-karts—an early passion that would grow into a lifelong love of all things automotive. This passion led him to a successful career as a master mechanic. Frank worked at DePaula Chevrolet in Albany and, for many years, at Andy Vosburgh Auto Repair in Latham, where his skill, dedication, and unmatched ability to fix just about anything earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike. There was truly not a car he couldn't fix. Frank was also a proud Harley-Davidson enthusiast and an avid ham radio operator, known by his call sign W2FPG. He was fiercely loyal and protective of those he loved, always standing as a steadfast presence for his family and friends. He was especially cherished by his little sister, Carol, to whom he was a devoted and loving big brother. In addition to Linda and his sister his sister, Carol (James) Marino, Frank is survived by several nieces and nephews; his close friends, AJ Vosburgh and Joe Sutherland, and his goddaughter Lisa Marie Cambria, who he loved dearly. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 27, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 3:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Frank's memory to Toys for Tots, an organization close to his heart, or to any charity supporting veterans or children in need.
