I don't understand this one... My forum search function is not working. I type a search for a certain rig in the swap meet area, and it says no results, even though there is one for sale now. What am I doing wrong? (PS, I was searching for a Kenwood 990, or 890)

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I don't understand the "search" function. I went into the "online swapmeet" forum and tried to search for an IC-718. It came back "No results found". OK, so to see if I'm doing it correctly I look on the 2nd page and there is a post for a "Heathkit HM-102 SWR meter". I copy the title, and past it into the search input box at the top of the page, and select "Search titles only" and "Search this forum only".

It returns "No results found." But I can see this item. So what am I doing wrong.

You need to read this: https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?th...z-search-function-with-better-results.942788/

The XenForo forums software doesn't work like Google. It uses Boolean logic and you need to read this tutorial carefully in order to use the XenForo search system effectively. It's not at all like Google.
