I've tried a number of SDR dongles over several years but lately acquired FlightAware's Prosick with a built-in LNA and found it to be superior to all previous dongles. Using it with a Diamond 3000N discone, aircraft as far as 150 nautical miles can be received. Wondering what others use for ADS-B? Tnx es 73's.

Any idea if it works with www.flightradar24.com and their system?

I'm building an ADS-B system now (replacing my older Flightaware system) but I'm much happier with flightradar24

Sorry Dave, not sure. I use it with RTL1090 and ADSB-Scope.

Dave, I don't think the Flightaware stuff cares what software you want to use. It appears to be a standard rtl-sdr dongle with a specific 1090mhz LNA and SAW filter to optimize ADS-B reception.

    regards, Roy
