    Once again Fleet Week NYC will be celebrated by station W2F with operators in and around NYC.

    Some will be operating from POTA Parks or IOTA Islands as the ships make their way into the NY Harbor and settle into their berths for a week of visits by people from around the world.

    Well, I was a bird farm sailor on the USS Coral Sea CV-43 but I got permission to ride the USS Ingersoll back from Pattaya Beach to Subic and that was a great trip despite running into some heavy weather and having to walk on bulkheads and being chased down the passageway by a 55 gallon trash can!
