    Regarding the JUMA kits, be aware they are not transceivers. The 60W transmitter
    is standalone, but for RX you still need your HF transceiver, as JUMA's RX is actually
    an upconverter to the 80m band. It's a decent converter.

    I haven't heard yet and it's been almost two months.

    (I'm 99.9% sure that there is no PLC line for many miles around my location but it's desirable to have the approval in my records, especially if the power company were to add a line in the future.)

    On the homebrew front, I'm looking into "divide by 4" oscillator circuits. Turns out that 160M xtals can be used for the 472-479kc band in this method (1888-1916kc). After that, a Class D RF deck to avoid monster size output tuning components...
