Conga-rats, fellow CW OP! From another new OP.

The SKCC is a great group.

I look forward to a CW QSO with you.

Nice going. You'll remember LZNs callsign forever.
Had my first CW QSO just about 55 years ago this summer, with WN8MMT.

I was a NREMT at the time I received the vanity call. I’ve also been a BLS instructor and taught a lot of full-spectrum Heartsaver classes with AEDs.

I can echo the fine website and info available. For some reason when I first joined, I did not take the time to really digest all the various awards. Did some SKCC stuff and did not even log it as possible with the free loggers available on down the web page. Later, if you decide to really have fun with learning new keys, the 3Key award encourages that. In my case, I had completed the necessary contacts on a straight key without ever having logged them as such. Little things like looking ahead of time can save a lot of work, but the idea is mainly to have fun. And it is fun. Good luck with CW.
