first contact made with KU4GZ using ,CA to North Carolina used RTQM to make connection. one issue observed was when i used the RTQM to log the call it would be good if it pulled the frequency I had to edit it to make correct and received confirmation on the connection
Hello Charles, Thanks for the QSO. Glad we were able to make contact. 20 was going pretty good but it seemed to be fading. I was thinking same, if there was a way to pull the freq. from the spot. I have my radio connected to with HRD so i can log and pulls the freq that way. Say i was out mobile thought it would be nice for logging that way. Luis KU4GZ
Yes Luis thank you hope to connect with you again soon I will look on RTQM or on the radio 73 sir Charles KO6INC
Tried calling @A92AA a couple of rounds just now on 7158 kHz after seeing the spot. Still listening on frequency. 73
@KU4GZ and @KO6INC thanks so much for the report. Currently we are limited by the legacy logbook's ability to pass information, which is why right now the only thing you get is the callsign. Additional logbook integration is most definitely on the to-do list, but it will require updates to the logbook as well as RTQM to do it so it's going to be a bit before that happens. 73, Steve KF8KI
@KF8KI hey Steve, i figured as much and totally understand. Baby steps baby steps. No need to rush. Just a wish list, you know how we ham ops are LOL
Finally made my first contact! KY4JLS was waiting on 40m, FT8, and came right back to me. I noticed that it was not necessary for me to click the "Log a QSO" link, since WSJT already sent the contact to QRZ. Anyway, RTQM worked great!
