We have an awesome club, and an awesome place for Field Day, I bet you wouldn't find a place like this for Field Day. This video is a compilation I made of Field Day and what we do down here in South Florida.
Field Day---ON THE BEACH!!! Doesn't get any better !!! Plenty of opportunity to showcase and display amateur radio too to the public! The BEST Field Days I've been involved in were the ones where we cold show to the non-ham public what we were up to and in the end, when it could REALLY make a difference. Having a "demo station" was a blast too!
I liked the video but I did notice, I saw maybe 6 people on the beach. Why is the beach deserted? Here in California any beach is always a zoo.
