    Brett,

Could you tell us about your operating history on the 3300-3500 MHz band?

From his lack of data on QRZ, and elsewhere, plus hiding behind a PO box, I sorta suspect he is a big nothing as far as hamming is concerned. His biggest achievement here is attracting other trolls.

I have never even heard of the band so personally I won't miss it but maybe somebody actually uses it? I am happy with my 4 G iPhone so whatever they do with the bandwidth is OK with me but until my current iPhone dies I'll stay with what I have & my wife as well.

Wow, "You gotta fight for your right to party!" Never cared for that song but somehow it comes to life in this moment.

Didn’t he say in the earlier thread that he was going form a “coalition?”

Maybe he’ll get together with N7EAA, and go make a “massive public stink” at the FAA ?

This minority activism component in ham radio does not reflect well on the licensee base, IMO.

It is 'passion' driven rather than 'fact' driven.

I think that is an insult to people who like to think and make their own decisions.

Your opinion may differ--and that's OK!

I can think of a huge example of that in the general public world that goes against what this country stands for.....I wont get into that any deeper on here.

Few, and almost all are non-ham.

Ski country ARC had a very interesting submission. They run a repeater system in...well, ski country! They use 3490 MHz with ubiquiti equipment. They are asking for compensation for the investment--about $3300.

I found this a reasonable request--but that is my opinion.

The 'Open Research Institute' ALSO had a very interesting submission, that, among other things says:

If 5G can be described as golden eggs, then the geese that laid them include large numbers of amateur radio clubs, groups, mentors, experimenters, and teachers. These often-uncredited influencers helped create a generation of engineers willing to take the risks that resulted in the creation of the world's most successful communications system.

This is absolutely correct. But it does not justify the full allocation of 3300-3500 MHz, unfortunately.

    Request C-A-R-V-E O-U-T.
