Im guessing but have you farmed out the production to a company in China to produce them for you ? and if so is that same company doing extra units that they are selling through their own sales outlet ?

in ANY CASE having seen the shoddy work of the chinese, you are never going to get a decently soldered, and wired unit. Get them made in the USA or in Europe and of a high quality, using high quality components and switches, silvered connectors and the chinese will find it too hard and costly to replicate without obviouse external quality diferences..

So what if it costs a few dollars more, if you can supply a product that actually works well, then we will buy it happily even at a higher cost if it has been made to last using quality components.

If the unit was available at 60€ on ebay from a doubtfull source, 90€ from your sales outlet and 120€ a high quality version made using the best connectors etc then personally I would pay the 120€ and never have to buy a second one !!

I allways had found it hard to understand why the chineese make stuff that looks good but for the sake of a few pennys more they could have made a perfect unit, but they allways cut corners with the quality of the materiels used and the way it's put together..
I was trying to argue that if they just took a little more time and effort they could have a better reputation for making quality goods !!!but that was just pissing in the wind..
In fact they are not trying to conquer the world by producing high quality goods at all, their aim is just to make it cheaper than Taiwan, Japan and every other far eastern country to try and put them out of the supply loop. They don't care about becoming the number one by choice of a decerning public, but to be the last dog standing, by ruining all the others, and then carry on producing crap as cheap as they can..
So where are you getting your units made ?

I disagree that CHI cannot make anything well (they can and do- but yes- =lots= of crap too).
That being said, whole lotta dead air from the OP after your reply.
I am dubious of this guy claiming "authentic" unless he can somehow show he designed the PCB etc.
He did post pics in another thread of some CHI operators set up for a field day type operation and other pics of units being assembled.
Still not enough to prove he is the "authentic" source (whatever that means)- but it is a step in a good direction IMO.

MINI60 by call sign DB7JPY Mr. Xu, reference prototype sark100, started in 2012 design, named as MA60-X1, after dozens of optimization procedures to improve the shell, in 2014 to increase the Bluetooth, increase mobile phone software, 2016 increase PC client, renamed MINI60, after several years of improved optimization algorithm, making mini60 more stable and reliable test more accurate,

The Technical Support Forum URL on that security sticker has some serious issues.
