Saturday August 12 Fair will be open for its' one and only Saturday of the year. A tailgate flea mkt is free to one and all as well.
Fair is still the #1 absolute paradise for anyone who's into home brew and restoration radio projects. I came home with a NEW un-used T22 ARC-5 TX for under $130, and a second one that's already converted one for 29. The new one is for of course 40m and the one second is for 80. There was still 1 un-open boxed 22 on the shelf @ closing time. There was a good variety and supply of these WW2 TX and the RX as well. Now to get my power supply wired up! I also set up a portable QRP solar/battery pwd station in the parking lot which was a great conversation starter, met many FB CW hams. VY 73 from Lane de n8aft
