Extra Exam during Covid19

    So, my local club was going to have their exam session on April 25th, pushed to June 13th...I'll be ready to take it at original time, do not wanna wait if I can help it...are any clubs, ARRL, etc. plan to do a virtual examinations in the next month?

    To the best of my knowledge there is only 1 group doing a quasi virtual exam. https://kl7aa.org/vec/remote-testing/ This still requires that a proctor be present with you during the exam which is approved by the VE team and there is still a significant delay before they will do a session for you.

    For a while there has been online testing, mostly for folks in remote areas. With the current restriction and concerns this is being expanded. One VEC that is working hard to bring remote testing to those wanting to test is the Greater Los Angeles Area Radio Group. While it has Los Angeles in the name, the testing is available anywhere in the US. I have proctored test session for examinees in Texas an Georgia from my home in California.
