Will Chip disappear?

I made a whole table full of people in a restaurant disappear once by asking for the check.
Wow, multiple waveguides... What will they think of next.
My question is, if I put popcorn in the center of that rig will it pop?
Good ones are still pretty darn big antennas.

I know the "monopole" vertical design all over the web is short, but occupies a great deal of horizontal space so the overall area savings isn't much.
Stay away from the butter, it's where all the calories are.
Apropos of somewhere way back in the thread, I did spend a couple hours listening to WA1ZMS/B scattering off of lightning. Maybe that counts as using one? A really, really big one, given the 2m wavelength.
But seriously, I'll probably build one of the beams someday just for the heck of it. It's still a few spots down the "things to try" queue right now.
