    Hi all homebrewers,
after successful building this famous analyzer, I want to announce it here.
Please have a look into the gallery:

    Some landmarks:
    - frequency range: 500 kHz .. 450 MHz
    - uses a touch screen (STM32F7 Discovery)
    - calculates real and complex antenna impedance
    - shows the Smith- diagram
-calculates the matching values for LC- adaption
    - all software is open source.

My intention for completion of the software was, to improve the visibility at daylight, and to complement a new "Multi SWR " menu:[IMG]

Here you can find the circuit diagram and some pictures of the result: (in German)
    and here: (in Russian)

After some month's of development, now some new features of the EU1KY analyzer are available:

    - frequency range: 100 kHz .. 600 MHz
    - Multi- Band SWR menu
    - colors switchable between inhouse / Daylight
    - automated cursor
    - Generator mode with AM / FM
    - Tune / SWR menu with sound and big coloured Progress bar
    - Scan frequency menu (Measurement of frequency, amplitude, power) with spectrum diagram

Please have a look at the pictured documentation:

Beautiful project. What is the cost compared to commercial units ?

Looks like it's about $220 and comes from China unless you want to buy the Discovery card from Digi-Key for about $60 and put it together yourself, but then it's still $145 so might as well buy a built one. Interesting project, looks nicely made.

I went with the home-brew route. Bought a STM32 Discovery board, and the RF board directly from EU1KY, then put it together, programmed the Discovery board and calibrated the unit.
It works very well up to the 2m band, and provides useful info even at 440.
Amazing functionality and performance at that price.

    Hi all

Excellent project, I have built several of them lately, they work great!
If you pay lots of attention to the coax+core you can get good results up to 600mhz (compared to other analyzers I have)

Link to my website of the project:

Here some links (unfortunaly in dutch but google translated) of some mods I did

I just saw this project - looks fantastic and a great build price for that functionality.

Am part way through the W8TEE/K2ZIA analyzer - so will finish that first and then build this EU1KY one.

Thanks for posting all the details here!

If anyone wants to put together their own analyzer, I have one spare unused EU1KY RF board.
It's a direct plugin to the STM Discovery board, and the binary code (no need to compile, just download once to the Discovery board) is available for free on-line.

I could sell it for $50 shipped. (in USA)
