Hi all, Out of transparency to our US friends: we are temporarily pausing direct shipments to the United States. This follows the new 15% US tariff on EU goods, the La Poste parcel halt to the US (since Aug 25, 2025), and a new UPS import processing fee (effective Sept 8, 2025). Combined, these changes create unpredictable landed costs and delivery risks for individual buyers. Details & official release: https://www.passion-radio.com/store/hamradio-us-tariff-43 Key points for buyers in the US: • Duties & taxes are paid by the importer (buyer) upon arrival, not by the seller in Europe. • Carriers may bill separate brokerage/processing fees locally. • Real-world example: a €50 part that used to land around $56 may be now up to ~$81.70 (FX + 15% duty + 15$ carrier fee). Our goal is to reopen US deliveries as fast as possible without surprise charges at the doorstep for our US clients.
