WOW, that’s terrible news... Very sorry Dave!
Not being poor isn't just about cash, you know you're rich with the support of the QRZ community. You;ll have what you need when you need it.
I'm sure if when the time is right you post up a list of gear you're looking to replace there will be an overwhelming response and you'll be able to replace a bunch of stuff.
The forums will survive, it may be like the Wild Wild West for a while, but they'll survive (I'd like to say everyone will behave in your absence but we know better ).
Take care of business and update us when you can.
Boy, that sucks. Glad it was just the garage and nobody was hurt.
What an awful loss, my heart just aches for you. I'm so relieved that there were no injuries and that the fire didn't spread to your house.
Perhaps, after a while, you can find a way to get on the air with a temporary setup.
Dave, I'm at a loss for words about this tragedy. The loss of such a long-term avocation is something that is hard to comprehend, and I'm sure heartbreaking. I'm sorry to hear that you have suffered such a loss.
Aw crap!!!! Let us know what we can do to help whenever you're ready.
So sorry to hear this, Dave. I have no words.
Oh wow, so sorry!
That is awful news, on one hand, but great news that no one was hurt.
