    Hello;

    I have written a log system based in Shell Script/CGI that automatic and immediatelly sends the contact record to a few central logs, namely, QRZ, EQSL, ClubLog and HRDLog.

    The only one missing was LOTW - Because of TQSL, which I was not super fond of installing it; actually I wanted something super slim (my server runs in a single-board computer) and least bloated possible.

    TQSL is surely a very powerful tool, but it was just too much for my needs.

    In a coding streak, I managed to write the proper TQ8 parser/encoder for LOTW consumption, and automatically uploading it as well.

    This is documented at https://github.com/rfrht/qso-web#a-word-about-lotw and the source code in https://github.com/rfrht/qso-web/blob/master/cgi-bin/registra.cgi#L126

    As the information for creating it are very sparse, I hope a encoded/described end-to-end can be of help for someone.

    For what is worth, this implementation only makes use of Shell script and OpenSSL. No other external software needed.

    As a reminder, this is licensed in GPL 3.0 license - meaning if you are going to ship a variation of this code it in your product to someone else, you have the obligation to provide the source code - Keep software free.

    Hope it is of help; 73s,

    PY2RAF.
