I hear a whinning noise that increases and decreases with engine speed. This is on my FT100D. Its never done this prior and ive checked all connections and grounds and looked for corrosion but all is in good order. ANY IDEAS?

Is this is the first time that you have used the rig mobile in this particular vehicle?

If so, then you will need to install an "alternator whine" filter right at your rig. If the situation just started and you have been running the rig mobile for a while, then chances are that you alternator is developing problems and will go "south" very soon.
