You specifically said +200 volts. I’m saying it’s a minus voltage that’s all.

My goof in assuming the K3 key out was a relay contact. It actually uses an IRF1630 FET to key the key out line.
Well, that FET would blow its top!
You could also call Elecraft and ask them.
That would be preferable to messing up something in a rig that can't be replaced cos it's out of production.
I'd use the ARB interface here; or better still, if one doesn't mind the slight additional delay, just add a small 12Vdc relay inside the amp whose coil is powered by a voltage doubler from the filament circuit and whose contacts key the original relay and make the amp "universal" so it can be used with any kind of transceiver and without the external interface.
OP said he has it working. Presumably with the Ameritron interface unit.
