EchoLink reporting wrong local IP address?

    My guess is that it will show up as a gateway.

    Computers don't lie. Normally. My Echolink local address is 127.0.0.1

    It routes to my EchoLinkProxy server. My ISP blocks UDP ports. :(:mad:

    Ok, starting to get the bottom of this.

    First of all, I was wrong, it IS pingable. (I keep typing 192.162 rather than 192.168, argghh!!)

    ipconfig listed that IP address under:

    Ethernet adapter VirtualBox Host-Only Network

    I do run VirtualBox on this machine, but all the VM's are 10.x.x.x per DHCP. I'm guessing when VirtualBox was first installed it setup up its own network using 192.168 and perhaps EchoLink latched onto that for some reason. Anyway, the bottom line is that it works and I'm not invaded by the Russians! :cool:
