    Dwight Allen Joseph Greenberg, 75, of Hughes Springs, Texas, formerly of Cocoa Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 11, 1950, in New Haven, Connecticut, to Julian and Reta Greenberg.



    Dwight proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 21 years of dedicated service. Following his military career, he worked for Harris L3 Corporation for 25 years. He and his wife spent 38 years in Florida, where they raised exotic birds, a passion they enjoyed sharing together.



    A lifelong communicator at heart, Dwight was an avid ham radio operator, known by his handle WF4H. He was also an active participant in the National Hurricane Network, using his skills to help provide vital information during severe weather events.



    He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beth Greenberg; one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Arlen Ideus; one granddaughter, Lindsey Ideus; two brothers, Julian Greenberg and Paul Greenberg; and three sisters, Debra Noah, Meriam Choron, and Peggy Tackett.



    Dwight will be remembered for his service, his dedication to family, and his adventurous spirit.
