Everyone is within six degrees of Kevin Bacon.
They "banned" MTV?
Holy crap, that would have been my last moment on that job when I quit and laughed at them -- a lot.
I try to stay at right angles.... not so awkward
Banned because video killed the radio star.
Why would I quit my job because there were a few nuts in Purdy, Missouri? Didn't bother me in the least.

When I bought my HQ-180 it was pretty like that. It still showed the faint rainbow colors from the plating process. Of course that was in the mid-70s.
Hi Carmen. Thanks for the kind words.
No special secret...
Just elbow grease, don't be in a hurry and pay attention to the details.
I always liked these Hammarlund radios.
I like to be within six steps of bacon.
Yes, it’s nuts to put things up for sale and then not even take the effort to make them look halfway decent. Hamfests are full of stuff like that.
My favorites are the boxes of dusty, dirty, filthy who knows what cables, misc. parts and so forth under the table. The box and contents have been hauled to numerous hamfests too. You would think it should dawn on the seller to either make the stuff look better and sort it out for people to look at or just toss the whole box in the dumpster.
