My local frequency coordination organization has this interesting archeological nugget buried in its 6m band plan...

    5 Repeater Pairs, 20 KHz spacing, 1 MHz - in/out

    52.610 - 53.610 52.630 - 53.630 52.650 - 53.650 52.670 - 53.670 52.690 - 53.690
    4 Repeater Pairs, 20 KHz spacing, 500 KHz - in/out
    51.120 - 51.620 51.140 - 51.640 51.160 - 51.660 51.180 - 51.680

    Question for gray haired packeteers...

Has anyone ever once witnessed FM Packet Radio using a duplex frequency pair?

Yes. I was never into packet, but I did help a prominent AZ packet guru set up a 2M repeater that had a primary purpose to relay packets. It was on Mt. Bigelow, above Tucson, and we put it up in the late 80's, IIRC. It was carrier squelch, so it also passed voice traffic. The stations could pass packets much the same as if they were on simplex. The key up idle time had to be lengthened a little bit to allow the repeater to key up, other than that it worked OK.
