    DU1HR passed away yesterday 26 November 2008 at 0600 local, 2200 UTC. "Ka Etoy" as he is fondly called by hams in the Philippines was the oldest licensed amateur radio operator in the country.

    His passing is a great loss but he leaves behind a rich treasure box of legacy. He was looked up upon by all.
