    Hi All.

My call sign is G0wyd Bob Coleman and I will be running the special event station GB2 HCC from the famous Highclere castle the home of Downton Abbey.

we will be on 144/50 MHz all mode IC 7400 and 2 hb9CV and a quad band vertical.

HF 160 to 29.700 all modes (possibly NOT CW as our master CW operator has fallen ill and I am the SSB voice man and not keen on CW anymore.

IC 7300 on a multi band dipole 160 to 50 mhz

IC 7600 on a Ciro Mazzoni baby loop from 40 to 10.

we will be on the air from 0900 GMT on Saturday the 12th until late on 2300 GMT and then back on later in the month from the 24th to the last day or the station being the 28th. we are trying to raise funds for LUPUS UK check my QRZ.com page for a link for donations and of course we have the special event station QSL card that we can send out in due course.

73's and see you on the bands

    Bob

Oh my! My XYL is a major fan of the show.... I will certainly have to at least give this a good shot - hopefully you have better propagation that I did for my just-ended K1T special event.

Good luck with the event - I'll certainly be watching the spots and listening for you!!
